US Youth Soccer Region I - CPSC U12 Game 2

CPSC Cobras coaches and players watch the on-field action from the sidelines on a warm and sunny morning

The CPSC U12 Cobras traveled to Barboursville, West Virginia to compete in the US Youth Soccer Region I Championship July 1 - 5. Saturday July 2 the second game of the three game group round was played at the YMCA complex on Ohio Road on the Ohio River.

The Cobras' second opponent were the the BYSA Soccer Central Black from Western New York.

The final score was 11-0 BYSA with another easy win over the Cobras. Again the Cobras were outmatched physically ... another amazing group of young athletes who played Bethesda to 5-1 loss in their final group game.

For the tournament, I was shooting the Canon 7D Mark II and the Canon EF 100-400MM F/4.5-5.6L IS USM lens for most of the on field action shots. Off the field, I was shooting the Canon EF 24-70MM F/2.8L USM Mark II, which I rented from LensRentals.com for this trip. What an amazing lens ... this is one that I may have to add to my camera bag soon.

Thanks for stopping by today!
