I am beginning to realize how busy a year this has been. These rose photos were taken in early September, processed, uploaded, and this blog post draft started. Now in mid-December, I am just now getting to finish the write-up. Oh well.

These photos were taken handheld with the Canon 7D Mark II and the Canon EF 100-400 MM F/4.5-5.6L IS USM lens. I was mostly working at 400MM to create a well-blurred background and isolate the rose buds.
