The blue and white Hibiscus above was photographed this Summer in our flower garden in mid-day sunlight. The photo was taken with the Canon 7D Mark II and the Canon EF 135MM F/2L lens handheld. With an F/2 aperture and the focus and exposure locked on the white center structure, I was able to blowout the foreground and background. I recall on the day I took this image the wind was blowing causing the flowers to move about which is why the center structure is not completely in focus.

The black and white conversion was done in Photoshop 2018 using a combination of a gradient map layer, a black and white layer, and a dodge & burn layer.
