The Fall colors in upstate New York have been slightly disappointing this year. I think this is why I have been in a black and white mood lately, which typically starts a bit later in November for me after the leaves are off the trees and the length of daylight is dwindling.

Above, a black and white conversion of the blue Iris posted previously is shown. The photo was shot with a Canon 7D Mark II and a Canon EF 135MM F/2.0L lens. I have had this image flagged for a black and white conversion for a few months now because I like the way the light falls across the focus point on the water drop and the structure of the leaf always looks great in black and white.The black and white conversion was done using Tonality CK and Photoshop CC 2018.
