When not working my day job, I am a dad, an amateur photographer, and enthusiastically follow Formula 1.

In my professional career, I am a research engineer / technical leader with interests in power and propulsion. I earned my Ph.D. in Aerospace engineering with a focus in aerospace engineering and fluid mechanics. Today I lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams developing thermal technologies for Aviation, Power, Renewables, and Health Care applications.

Photography is a hobby that I discovered after completing graduate school. I started my photography journey with the first Canon Digital Rebel photographing my newborn. That first camera and experience hooked-me and I have been developing my interests and skills since then. I am not a single discipline photographer; I shoot what interests me.
