I visited Chicago in early May on a business trip. Fortunately the weather was excellent and I had remembered to pack my Fuji X100F in my business case, so I decided to take advantage of the situation and walked the 1.5 miles between my hotel and the office building each morning and evening. This was only the second time I have had the Fuji X100F on a trip and I am still loving it. It's the familiar X100 body, but just all around easier to use and the image quality is beyond my expectations.
The images have been post-processed in Lightroom Classic CC using either the Classic Chrome or ACROS Fuji rendering. In some cases, there are multiple images that have been stitched together to create a panorama, or minor cropping to remove distractions on the periphery, but the majority of images are basically straight out of camera.
I was trying to remember how long it has been since I last visited downtown Chicago and I think it has been 12 years. My impression after spending a couple mornings and evenings walking the river and streets downtown was very favorable. I don't recall Chicago every being as clean and well maintained and the River Walk, while not at peak season, was hopping in the 75F May warmth. And as always, the food was excellent!
Thanks for stopping by today!
