In late June, my son and I traveled to Burlington Vermont for his final U14 soccer tournament. On Friday and Saturday evenings, we visited downtown Burlington and walked Church Street and the surrounding areas; also visiting the Lake Champlain waterfront and Battery Park.
For the trip, I brought both my Canon 7D Mark II for the soccer field and the Fujifilm X100F for the evenings downtown. I did not take many travel pictures during the excursions downtown. My son is not one to linger about and wait for the best light or interesting people to wander into the scene. Nevertheless, I managed to drag him to a few locations and take a few interesting pictures. I did end up taking about 1000 photos during the soccer tournament that I need to cull and process soon.
On Friday evening, we revisited the American Flatbread Burlington Hearth for pizza. The food and beer is as good as I recall from a few years prior. On Saturday evening, the parents sent the boys off on their own and we entertained ourselves by stopping at a few of the watering holes downtown.
Burlington is a fun little town and I look forward to returning. Thanks for stopping by today!
