Four days in and around Philadelphia and the iPhone reports we walked about 25.5 miles. With the Fujifilm X100F constantly at the ready, I managed to capture some interesting architectural photos as we traversed the city on foot and even by double-decker tour bus.

In late August, we took a 4-day family trip to Philadelphia to visit the historic sites and walk the city. Our first stop on our way was to historic Valley Forge national park. It was a warm and sunny afternoon, so we decided to walk the park. Most of the major monuments can be reached by car or a trolley tour, so walking the 6+ miles is not mandatory.

We took a last-minute Saturday day trip into New York City to meet long-time friends of my wife who were there on vacation. We had lunch and a late afternoon snack at Rockefeller Center, visited Saint Patricks Cathedral, walked down to Times Square, and then up Broadway.

In late June, my son and I traveled to Burlington Vermont for his final U14 soccer tournament. On Friday and Saturday evenings, we visited downtown Burlington and walked Church Street and the surrounding areas; also visiting the Lake Champlain waterfront and Battery Park.
