On Sunday May 21 with a rare afternoon to free, my son and I made our way to the Saratoga Auto Museum's Annual Spring Auto Show in Saratoga Springs, New York. My weekends this Spring have been occupied primarily by soccer tournaments which inevitably means I have my Canon 7D Mark II in tow. For the first time this Spring, the auto show afforded me the opportunity to carry along the Fuji X100S.
The show contained a wide variety of cars spanning the classics (1918 electric car) to the modern super cars (Porsche 911 GT3 RS) and even a 1984 brown and tan Ford Tempo ... my personal favorite.
We arrived with an hour and a half remaining in the show, which meant cars were already starting to head out, but I managed to find many interesting and unique vehicles to photograph.
Above, a blue-on-blue '57 Chevy in excellent condition. My son couldn't get over the amount of blue on one car.
Do you like your Corvette's red? There is a whole lotta red on this exquisite example.
My personal favorite. The Porsche 911 GT3 RS. Some day.
Note: the sun came out as I walked up to the 911 and I thought I had the exposure set correctly, but it turned out I had the shutter speed / F stop way too low and the images were 1-2 stops overexposed, which I recovered in post.
Lovely paint and finish on this Corvette.
The legend. A Beautiful BMW E34 M3.
A gorgeous 2006 Ford GT.
An Alvis. Look at that chrome grill...that takes some effort to keep clean.
A Ford Model A all dressed up for the upcoming Memorial Day.
Thanks for stopping by today!
