On Sunday May 21 with a rare afternoon to free, my son and I made our way to the Saratoga Auto Museum's Annual Spring Auto Show in Saratoga Springs, New York. My weekends this Spring have been occupied primarily by soccer tournaments which inevitably means I have my Canon 7D Mark II in tow. A Ruby Throated Hummingbird approaches a Butterfly Bush to feed
The other day while taking photos, I observed two hummingbirds chasing each other around the yard. Several times one of them had stopped no more than five feet in front of me and hovered for a few seconds before continuing on its way. As if taunting me, they just hung there until I began to bring the camera up, then they flew off.
