Black-Capped Chickadee looking at the camera
The final weekend of Winter in March and the ground was still covered with snow in the Capital District, however the sunlight is making it feel warmer than it is and and the mood is not as gray and glum. Spring is just around the corner!
The species of birds is also beginning to diversify. Red-Winged Blackbirds and Grackles are becoming abundant, although I was unable to get a good shot of them this weekend, so the birds in today's post are again the House Finch, Black-Capped Chickadee, Titmouse, and Northern Cardinal.
Today's camera setup is the Canon 7D Mark II with the Canon EF 100-400MM F/4.5-5.6L IS USM lens handheld. Post-processing was completed in Adobe Photoshop CC with the Luminar plugin and the black and white conversions completed with Tonality CK plugin.
